Baker Priorities

• Fight inflation and rising gas prices by resisting efforts to shut down our energy sector and ensuring conservative spending levels in the state budget
• Provide increased funding for behavioral and mental health access and services and to strengthen school security
• Protect our democracy by ensuring election integrity and security and prohibiting the use of private funding in elections
• Push government reform measures, including a gift ban for state officials and legislators and additional disclosure requirements for super PACs
• Continue support for taxpayer-led push to replace property taxes for supporting education
• Find better ways to connect education programs with job opportunities
• Add additional protective measures to prevent child abuse and neglect
• Secure further improvements in health care, housing, and education for veterans
• Enact incentives to help with the recruitment and retention of emergency responders
